September Sketch - Life.Paper.Scrapbook

I had fun using lots of layers with some of the new papers from My Minds Eye - Cut and Paste collection
and I just love the little deer from Basic Grey - Mint Julep Collection. The cute arrow paper clip is from Freckled Fawn.

Watercolour and Chevron

Hello Everyone

These are two of my favorite things at the moment. Chevron pattern and watercolour! In this layout I have used a crafters workshop template to create the Chevron Pattern. I played around with mixing my watercolours and I just made sure my brush was not to wet to avoid too much bleeding under the template. I didn't want it to be perfect either.

 I then outlined the pattern using a charcoal pencil. I also flicked some watercolours on my page. Oh and I painted my mini peg with watercolour! I just love these colours and these new papers from Carte Bella -Hello Again range.

I used these large alpha from Amy Tangerine as my title and my title is also my journalling and sums up how I feel when I look at this photo of my sweet girl and I.

I am now keen to try more templates with my watercolours!

We have a busy but fun weekend with my daughters Ballet concert tomorrow!
