5 & Dime

As promised sharing my play with October Afternoon!! Love Love this range!! Well I always love OA :)
While I await my new camera lenses, I have been having fun with some photo apps on my iPhone! The photos on these two layouts were taken on my iPhone4 and played with an app that makes them look like an old Polaroid pic.
So I had to scrap this pic of our very expensive puppy...(if you don't know read this post about his op)

This one is my two on their bikes, they want to ride them everyday at the moment!
Note : the Deer button is from Purple Pumpkin isn't it way cute?!

Thanks Heaps to all who stop by and leave me lovely comments!
Yay Friday tomorrow! best day of the week :)

Scrap the Girls

Hi all!

Yay I did a challenge! Finally over my cold just still have a lingering annoying cough! Anyway this is the first time I have joined in at Scrap the Girls. This month was a colour challenge, an easy one for me Love these colours!

This is what I came up with....

Been meaning to scrap these pis for a while! I made the Teresa Collins Transparency into a pocket and I have about four photo's tucked in there of my gorgeous girl dancing!
I have used Teresa Collins Papers - Posh, Kaiser and Echo Park. Echo Park Letter stickers and words, Prima flower, Zva Bling,
rub on's and bakers twine. I used glimmermist and glimmerglam on my flowers. I also stamped my background paper with a grid stamp.
I LOVED doing this challenge, I wish to do more!

Also been playing with October afternoon 5 and a Dime will share these very soon :)

Thanks for looking

Get Picky - June Sketch # 9

June sketch is now up at Get Picky! A great sketch easy to work with! Why not have a go?!! This month you could win a $50 voucher from wicked princess! Also come over and check out the other amazing DT Layouts for some inspiration :) Get Picky

Here is what I come up with...

I have used the cog and red hessian from A Lil Somethin, Teresa Collins paper, transperancy and brads.

I wanted to create a background to reflect a skate Park.So I thought I would share this pic so you could see how I created the background paper. First I glimmer misted using chippie letters as a mask, then I brushed on some blue paint and put some dark blue paint lines over the top by running a piece of cardboard through the paint. I have also done some paint splatters with red and blue. Then using a cup I done the red circles and half circles. To finish of I have charcoal inked the outside and stamped a grid stamp randomly with TH faded denim.

I have manage to do some more scrapping this week!!, but no chance to photo them yet cause I have since been sick with a cold!
Thanks for stopping by...
enjoy your weekend

Bo Bunny - Zoology

Hi all!

I have had a play with Bo Bunny Zoology! Not my usual colours or choice of paper but I did enjoy using it! Part of my DT pack from Made With Memories, these papers will be in store very soon. Of course it is perfect for those Zoo pics, so that's is what i have done here when the kids went to the Perth Zoo in January and we meet up with friends we hadn't seen for a long time.

I have used papers, a die cut, stickers/alphas and chipboard all from this range. Added some paint, hessian and string from my stash.

I also made a couple of cards....

I love this cute Hippo it reminds me of Gloria from Madagascar (love that movie) hehe!

Also just wanted to apologize for my poor picture quality! Sadly now my portrait lens met with a bad fate! My other darling child was trying to be helpful when I had my camera set up on the tri pod! That's 2 lenses in the last six months I have to laugh or I will cry (or explode)!! Well I cant survive without my DSLR so I thought I have to buy new lenses AGAIN! BUT.........then the darling puppy dog got sick DUMBO ate two rocks from my garden and got them stuck in his intestines his only hope was surgery (sit down to read this bit) 2K later he is all beta, so you can guess my lenses have been put on hold!! oh and our holiday!!

These are the very expensive rocks!! I could have had them diamond encrusted for the price of puppies surgery!!

If you have read all this whinging thanks for hanging round!!
Enjoy the rest of your week
