Hope you have had a nice weekend. Well I'm bored tonight because normally I watch Idol! So I thought I should update my blog!

I finished a layout I did about myself. I don't like photos of me so this was hard but I wanted to journal some feelings. I have used the lyrics from Vanessa Amorosi song " This is who I am" I like the lyrics because something i am trying to do is be happy with who I am. I have always been critical and negative about myself and I have only just realized it at this time in my life so I am learning how to change this and hopefully become more positive so I can pass that on to my children. Now that's a bit deep!!! Here is the layout...

I have used teresa collins pp's, Kaiser acetate shapes, black gold glimmer mist, AC thickers, Jenni bowlin alphas, Heidi Swapp chip heart, chipboard frame and kaiser bling.

Just a tip for doing masking with your glimmer mist if you don't have any masks or screens. You can just use a piece of chipboard left from chipboard accents. This is the one I used...

I have also made a couple of cards...the baby one is for a friend who just had her 3rd child I am going to visit her this week and have some cuddles!

So we had a busy but fun week. My BF came down from Darwin. Because of different circumstances we have only seen each other once in the last 4 years! It was so awesome to see her and meet her hubby and to see how much little Zaharah has grown.

Daddy was away this week in Sydney for work so we had a sleep over at Nana's. We had a family BBQ and the kids got to meet one of there 2nd cousins for the first time. They just played together all day non stop and no fighting they became instant friends! So cute...here they are..

Crate Paper

Did you know LOVE Crate Paper pp's! For this layout I have used the bliss collection.

I have used glimmer mist on the paper and on the title. Kaiser rub on's and hambly clear stickers.

I am also working on my class layout for January. I will be doing a series of 4 double page layouts over 4 months starting in January. The series will focus on scrapping school photo's, first day, class photo's, excursions and playground.

The first class will be on January 23rd. It will feature papers from WRMK perfect for school pics! The theme is "First day of school" I will have a sneak peek soon....

Now to the weekend we had a great time, went to mum and dads and went motorbike riding and had yummy homemade pizza in their BBQ, they have a new one with the oven with the pizza stone mmmmm!

Sunday well I was very slack (for a change!) I did nothing cause i awoke with a bad ear infection which I still have :( hope it goes very soon!

Just like a circus...

He he no I didnt go to Britneys concert! But I have that song stuck in my head!

I have used... scenic route pp's, twiddlybitz fence, jenni bowlin letters, glimmermist n paint, buttons n ribbon.

I seem to be going a bit crazy for bright colours at the moment!!

I am also having a love affair with glimmemist!!

I just bought 3 new limited additions colours....Black gold, cherry blossom, marshmallow

some other goodies...

Hi there just a quick share....

I don't get many photo's of me and hubby, so I had to scrap this one it was a self posed pic in Bali last year. I love these papers from pink paislee. I had lots of fun with glimmermist, grungeboard and my new Tim Holz stamps. The flowers are prima and I sprayed them with glimmermist.

Something funny :

My DS looked at this layout and said mum you look pretty and very young in this photo!! How sweet even though it was only last year! What does that say about how I look now!

I will definitely be using these papers again!

I want to say a very special HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my parents for tomorrow celebrating 33 years! I love them very much they are the best parents and wonderful grandparents and we feel so blessed to have them in our life. MWAH XX

Hi everyone!

We had a great weekend Sat we went took the kids to the beach and then went for lunch with my parents. Sunday we did a lot of jobs around the yard and washed both cars it was good to catch up on some jobs. Here are some pics from the beach....

I even got some scrapping done over the weekend!

Here I have used scednic route, crate paper and collage press papers. Prima bling, AC thickers, BG chipz and material.

This one is using the new WRMK papers. I had some fun using glimmermist and paint on this one.



Some yummy new papers I bought from Made with Memories...new October Afternoon, BG and WRMK. The alpha's are from october afternoon as well.
